Plusieurs membres de la Chaire ont participé au séminaire en ligne intitulé : "15 years of the Convention for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions and Lessons for New Ways of International Law-Making: Actors, Processes, Impact".
Cet événement entièrement en ligne, organisé par the Interest Group on International Law of Culture (ESIL IG in International Law of Culture) a eu lieu le 9 septembre 2020.
La titulaire de la Chaire, Véronique Guèvremont et la directrice adjointe, Ivana Otasevic, ont prononcées une présentation intitulée "Protecting and Promoting the Diversity of Cultural Expressions in Context of Electronic Commerce: Make the Cultural Exception Great Again". Clémence Varin, candidate au doctorat à l'Université Laval et membre de la Chaire, s'est intéressée au "The Crucial Role Played by Other International Forums for the Implementation of the Convention in the Digital Environment". De même, Laurence Cuny, candidate au doctorat à l'Université Laval a abordé "The Contribution of the 2005 UNESCO Convention to the Emergence of Artistic Freedom as a Cultural Right".
